How to get the hidden field value in submission to redirect url post dat

what are all the options do we need to enable in the jotform settings to get the hidden field value in the jotform Thankyou page redirect url post data,

1. In Form Builder, click on Settings on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
2. Select Settings from the left side window.
3. Click on Shore More Options.
4. Look for Clear Hidden Field Values, click Clear when submitted and select Don't Clear.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

It is not reflecting in my case. So i have a below hidden field in my jotform
and in the settings page mentioned option also enabled

but after submitting the form it is not coming in the redirect HTTP post data



Please help us to resolve this issue

To confirm, are you working on this form? If so, I checked the Clear Hidden Field Values settings, and it’s currently set to Clear when hidden. Please change it to Don’t clear as my colleague suggested, and let us know how it goes.

Can you provide more details about the exact flow of the form? I checked, and I notice you're using the Hidden Box widget, but I'm not sure how you prefill it with a value, since didn't specify any default value in it. Can you explain a bit more about it?

Hi i'm generating the URL like below to prefill the data in the jotform, So i need the hidden box values also in the HTTP redirect post data and as per the previous commands i enabled the Don't clear option in the form settings

Instead of Hidden Box widget, have you consider using a normal Short-text field that is set to hidden? Let me walk you through on how set it up:

1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element button.

2. Add the Short text field to the form and label it.

3. Go to the field's Advanced tab, and enable Hide Field, so it won't appear on the user's view.

4. Then, click on the Field Details, and use the field's Unique name as the parameter name.

The above options also can't work in our case. Please help us to achieve the scenario.

The above suggestion actually works. I tested with one of my forms, where I used a hidden short-text field instead, and it shows the data on HTTP Post. Check this out:

Have you tested it already? I checked the hidden box widget, and there doesn't seem to have an option to prefill it with data from the URL parameter.
