I work for Argyle IT Solutions. We are the MSP for Neighborhood Properties Inc.

I was working with Vertical Axion regarding their website and when I asked them whether the Donate button generates an email every time a donation is received, They told me that JotForms manages the Donations and that I should ask you. Would you be able to give me any more info regarding their Donations through you?

    Hi Jacob,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you confirm if the email that you are pertaining to is an Autoresponder? If not, please specify what type of email you are referring to.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Honestly, I do not currently know what email would be connected to the donate button. I would assume that it has an auto response. I am attempting to find out if there is a record of how the account was set up but as of right now I have very little information. I believe my client is asking if there is an email sent somewhere when somebody clicks on the donate button and fills out the form.

    Hi Jacob,

To clarify further, Is the donation collection mandatory on the form? If so, you can set up an email notification so that an email is sent each time someone fills out and submits the form. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.

    3. Now, click on Add Email

    4. In the list that comes up, select Notification Email.

    5. In the center of the next window, click on the Recipients tab.

    6. Now, just enter your email address into the Recipient Email field, and click on Save. That's it, you're done.

You may need to add some fields to prompt users whether they want to donate or not, and then create a condition based on their answer. This way, an email will only be sent if a donation is actually made.

If you can provide the link to the form, we can look into it and guide you through the steps of setting this up.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Good morning,

So I spoke with Vertical Axion about the website and they gave me the link to the form https://form.jotform.com/193423185786165
However I dont think I will be able to do anything with it since they are saying that they do not manage the jotform account, Is it possible that I could get a name or email associated with the account in jotform connected to Neighborhood Properties so that I can find out who I need to get in touch with to manage this part of the process?

    Hi Jacob,

Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose any personal information about the form owner, such as their name or email address. On the other hand, I checked the form you sent us and saw that an Autoresponder email had been set up. When the form responder submits the form and enters the donation amount, the autoresponder email feature will notify them through email as a confirmation of their donation or entry. Please note that Jotform only serves as a tool to process payments through the Payment Processor Integration that our users add to their forms, and Jotform doesn't handle the payment.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hmm, I can understand that.

Is there any way I can find out where that autoresponder sends an email to currently?

    Hi Jacob,

The email logs show detailed information about the emails, including timestamps, delivery status, recipients, and form IDs. You can easily View Your Form Email Logs in your account settings. Let me show you how:

    1. Go to the History tab on your Account Settings page.
    2. Click on All Actions in the top-right corner of the History page, and in the dropdown menu that opens, scroll down to the bottom and select Emails.
    3. Click on the External Link icon on the right side of the Form ID to open the email of the related submission.
