    Hi applicationsupport,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I didn't fully understand your issue. I checked your form, and it appears that the approval flow is working properly. Can you explain a bit more about the issue, so I can get a better idea of what's happening? Rest assured, we’ll find a solution for this. Can you share with us a screen recording of what’s happening so we can try to replicate it on our end? You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

In the below image, approver 1 is not filled because of unavailability, but approver2 is filled and submitted. It is showing error.

I want it to be flexible few times approver 1 will be there few times no.

If approver1 field is blank it should move to approver2.

    Hi applicationsupport,

Can you try to use one approval flow for two approvers? Check out my screenshot below:

Can you try to add both approvers in one approval element and set the completion rule to require a response from one person? Can you try it again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, let us know, and we'll do some more testing to see what's going on.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

Hi in this case , if two approvers are available and both are filled and submitted by submitter.

if approver1 approves it will directly go to checked by, i dont want that to happen.

If approver1 column is blank than it should flow to approver 2 and than checked by.

If both are filled app1 --> app2--> checked by

    Hi applicationsupport,

It is not possible to skip an approval element. You can create two flows connected to an If/Else condition. Check out my screenshot below:

You can check out my clone form here. Can you try it again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, let us know, and we'll do some more testing to see what's going on.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

    Hi applicationsupport,

Yes, you can implement it on your previous submitted form; you just need to restart the approval flow. Let me show you how:

    1. In your approval flow builder, click on settings on the green navigation bar.
    2. Enable the restart approval flow on edit submissions.

Now, edit your submissions to restart the approval flow and click on approve. Editing your submissions is easy in Inbox. Let me walk you through it:

    1. In Inbox, on the left side of the page, click on the submission that you want to edit.

    2. Click on the Three Dots icon at the top-right side of page.

    3. In the dropdown list that opens, click on Edit.
