Why is my email added to the Bounce List?

    I don't understand why our email is now on the "bounce list" when we have made no changes.

    Hi LRGC,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. There are several reasons why your email address may have been added to the bounce list. It could be due to a non-existent or inactive email address, your mail server might be unavailable, your email server rejected emails due to suspected spam, your mailbox is full, or Jotform is on your deny list. Jotform will stop sending emails when your email address is on the bounce list.

    To prevent email bouncing related issues, we recommend setting up SMTP for your form. Let me show you how to do that:

    1. On your My Forms page, click on your Profile Picture/Avatar from the navigation menu.

    4. Enter the SMTP details as follows:
    • Email Address: Your email address.
    • Host Name: The hostname provided by your hosting provider.
    • Port: 587 or 465.
    • Username: Your email address. Unless the hosting provider specifies a unique username, this should be the same as the email address.
    • Password: The password for the given email address/username.

    If everything’s filled, click the Test Email button to confirm the SMTP works. If it works, click the Save Email button to finish the setup. Otherwise, correct the details. We also suggest adding noreply@jotform.com and noreply@formresponse.com to your email Contact List to prevent email bouncing related issues.
