https://www.jotform.com/build/232765704525156
First field: I have not enabled the calendar blocker on a current date, but when testing, I am able to click to see the calendar and choose a different date. I only want to see the date the user filled out the form.
Products: I have enabled Stock Control on items but when testing we can order 500 of an item and do not get an error pop up.
Also, this is a free account. We have one other member of our team using jotform on a bronze account and we like it but do not have the volume to have a team account. And this form would only be used October and November. Can responses be sent to a different email address than the author? Can we copy a form to add it to our bronze account? Thanks so much!!

Hi Ruth,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'll need some time to look into this. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Hi Ruth,
Since you already set the default date of your Date Picker to the current date, let me show you how to disable choosing other dates.
- In Form Builder, click on the Gear icon of the Date Picket field.
- From the Limits tab, uncheck Past and Future.
Here's the result:
As you can see from my screenshot above, all the other dates are greyed out and can't be selected. Another workaround that I can suggest is by getting the value from the Date Picker field and passing it into a short text field by setting up the Update/Calculate Field condition. This way, users won't be able to click on the Date Picker field. Let me walk you through this:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element on the upper left side of the page.
- From the Basic tab, select Short Text.
- Click on the Gear icon of the added field.
- From the General tab, enter the Field Label.
- From the Advanced tab, toggle Read Only to turn it On. This way, users won't be able to edit the field.
- Let's hide your Date Picker field:a. Click on the Gear icon of your Date Picker field.b. From the Advanced tab, toggle Hide field.
Now, let's set up the Update/Calculate Field Condition:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Select Conditions from the left side window.
- Select Update Calculate Field.
- Set up the condition like the one below. The IF statement will be the Date Picker field, and the TO field is the short text field that's been added.
- Click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Here's the result:
As for your other questions, I've moved them to a new thread and will be helping you out here:
- Product List Field: Stock control is not showing the error message
- How to change the recipient of notification email
- How to clone a form
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Ruth_CurrieReplied on September 13, 2024 at 11:23 AMOne more question, since we are not able to completely do away with our paper (some are quite attached!) can our admin staff use the submissions tab to add an order (I tried but did not see a way to make selections) or is it better for admin to just fill out the jotform based on the paper form submitted, and by adding their email, the purchaser will get the confirmation emails.
