Hi,
We are building a survey and would like to have it bilingual. We want the English text to sit underneath the Spanish text for each question. How can we separate the text with a new paragraph?
Thank you,

Hi Jacqueline,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can use the two different paragraph fields to set the texts in different languages. For example, you can use the first paragraph field for the Spanish language and add the second paragraph field to add the text into the English. Let me show you how:
- Open your form in Form Builder, and in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Add Form Element.
- Select Paragraph element. Drag and drop it on the form.
- Click on the White pencil icon to edit the text, and enter the text in Spanish.
- Repeat the same steps to add the text into the English under the Spanish, That's it.
You can also translate the existing form into another language. It's easy to translate an existing form into another language. Here is a helpful guide, you can check it out. Let me walk you through it:
1. Open your form in Form Builder.
2. In the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
3. Click on the Show More Options button.
4. Scroll down to the Form Language section and select the language you want to translate the form from.
5. Click on the Edit button next to Translations, and then click on the Add Form Language button.
6. Select the language you want to translate the form to, and then click on the Add Form Language button.
Now, the translated form will look like the one below:
7. Go to Form Warnings to see/edit any untranslated fields. And here you can edit the translated fields too. It'll be automatically saved when you add or edit any text.
8. When you're done making the form multilingual, you can click on Preview Form to see how it'll look to anyone filling out your form:
