When someone reserves a RV spot and needs to change it to a different spot is there a way to do this?

    Hi Tim,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. There are two ways to let users change their orders. First one is to send users an edit link with the autoresponder email. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, go to Settings at the top.
    2. Select Emails on the left and edit your Autoresponder.
    3. In the editor, add the {edit_link} tag to your email.
    4. Select Save at the bottom when finished.

Once configured, your form submitters will receive your autoresponder email containing the edit link, which they can use to update their entries.

The second method is to include a Request Update button in the submission board that will send a request email to users who have submitted their submissions. Keep in mind that you need to individually send the emails to each individual to whom you want to edit their submissions. Let me show you how to do that step by step:

    1. In Tables, click on Add to add a column for the action button.
    2. In the Add a New Column window, choose Buttons at the top.
    3. Select Request Update from the options, then click on Next in the lower-right corner.
    4. Enter a Column Name and click on Next.

    5. Now, click on Fields and select the Email field.
    6. You can also add a message and once you’re done, click Create Column.
    7. The buttons should display on the table. To make the email request, select the Send Update Request button next to the entry.
    8. As a result, email recipients can change their entries after clicking the Edit Form Response button.

That's it. Give it a try and let us how it goes.

I would like to know how I can change the rv location not the person who
    ordered it.

    Hi Tim,

Another approach is you can include an Edit link in the body of your auto-responder email and set up your Notification email. This will enable you to make updates to your submission entries by clicking the Edit link whenever changes are needed. Let me show you how:

    1.  In Form Builder, click on Settings located at the top orange navigation bar.
    2. Under the Emails tab, select Add Email. Allowing edit option with submission entries Image 1 Screenshot 70
    3. Now, select Notification Email. Allowing edit option with submission entries Image 2 Screenshot 81
    4. In the Email Content section, make sure the Edit Submission link is included.
    5. Finally, click on Save. Allowing edit option with submission entries Image 3 Screenshot 92

Next, you can optionally add the Edit link to your autoresponder email if you want to allow form respondents to edit their submissions. Here's how to do it:

    1.  In Form Builder, click on Settings located at the top orange navigation bar.
    2. Under the Emails tab, hover your mouse to the Autoresponder email and click the Pencil icon to edit. Allowing edit option with submission entries Image 4 Screenshot 103
    3. In the Email Content section, click on Form Fields.
    4. Now, select Edit link.
    5. Finally, click on Save. Allowing edit option with submission entries Image 5 Screenshot 114
