Hi instyleplasticsurgery,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To check it further, could you please explain what you mean by "Mailchimp requires a specific field called SMS Phone Number"? To integrate your form with Mailchimp, here’s how to do it. Let me show you how:
- In the Form Builder, go to Settings tab.
- Select Integrations on the left sidebar.
- Enter Mailchimp on the Search bar.
- Then, select and authenticate Mailchimp.
- Configure your settings, then select Complete Integration at the bottom.
We also have a guide to help you learn How to Integrate With Mailchimp. But, if that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?
Once we have a better idea of what’s going on, we’ll be able to come up with a solution.

Hi instyleplasticsurgery,
Can you send me the link to your form, so I can take a look at it for you? Can you record a video of the issue using Loom and send us the link? Or, if you can take a screenshot of what’s happening, that will help us to better understand what’s going on. We have a guide about how to do that here. Also, can you check Mailchimp fields if they have any required phone numbers?
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

I
On the right where it says Add New Field, there's supposed to be another option like "SMS phoneNumber" that Mailchimp is requiring. This feature is very new so maybe you guys haven't updated it yet.

Hi instyleplasticsurgery,
Currently, by default, the required field in the Mailchimp integration with Jotform is only the Email field, which is why you see an asterisk (*) next to it. However, you can still add the "SMS Phone Number" as a custom field in your Mailchimp account so it becomes available for mapping in Jotform. Let me show you how:
- On your MailChimp account, navigate to your Audience dashboard on the left side of the page.
- Click on the Manage Audience dropdown menu.
- Select View Audiences.
4. Click on Settings and select Audience fields and *MERGE* tags.
5. Then click on Add a Field at the bottom. Add a new field for Phone Number (this can be labeled as "SMS Phone Number").
Check out my screenshot below to see my results:

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
