Why am I not receiving submission notifications?

    I have read through the notification trouble shooting page but feel I need to be walked through it to ensure I am receiving the notifications I need.

    Is Live Chat available? Or a support session? I am considering Gold level membership.

    Hi Adam,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Although we offer Live Chat Support, there are a limited number of agents available in each time zone. So, sometimes it gets disabled, and you won't see it on our pages. When it is available, you'll see a pop-up if you're logged into your account on most pages, like Form Builder, Jotform Tables, Jotform Inbox, etc. as shown in the lower-right corner of the image below:

    As for your other concern, It's really easy to Upgrade your Account. Let me show you how:

    1. On your My Forms page, click on Pricing in the blue navigation bar at the top of the page.

    2. On the Pricing page, choose the plan you want to buy.

    3. In the popup window, choose either a Monthly or Yearly payment schedule and either Credit/Debit Card or PayPal as the payment method. 

    Here’s an example of the Bronze plan:

    After you click on Continue, you'll need to enter your Credit/Debit Card details.

    If you choose to use PayPal, you’ll get redirected to the PayPal payment page to complete the payment.

    I do not need assistance with upgrading. I need to know why I am not receiving notifications of submissions.

    Hi Adam,

    I checked your form, and it seems that you forgot to add the email recipient on your email notification. You need to add this so you can be able to receive an email notification for the new submissions. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click Settings on the orange navigation bar.
    2. Tap Emails on the left menu.
    3. Hover to Notification 1 and edit the recipient and add your email address then Save it.

    Once done, you can now receive an email notification for the new submissions on your form. We also have a guide on Setting Up Email Notifications that you can check out.

    Thank you! That helped. I do have a question about this relating to encryption. I noticed I had to remove the encryption in order to receive a notification on submission. Is there a way to secure form submissions and still receive a notification email? TIA

    Hi Adam,

    If you encrypt your form, you'll still able to receive an email notification for the submission, but the responses will be hidden for security purposes. We also have a guide about Encrypted Forms that you can check out.
