How can I define the HTML format of an Input Table?

    Hi,

I am using Jotform, Zapier and Trello. I have an input table in Jotform and I want to see it directly in Trello. Zapier asks the HTML format of the input table for that. I am very new in those things and I need help.

I am sending the form. And screenshot of the unique names of the table and the cells.

Would you please give the HTML format of this input table? Once I learn how to make it, then I will do it myself in other projects as well.

    Thanks,

The only way to get the input table's HTML format would be to get your form's source code.

    Kindly check this guide:https://www.jotform.com/help/104-How-to-get-the-Full-Source-Code-of-your-Form

We do also have a direct integration with Trello.

    Hope this information helps.

    Hi,

I tried that direct integration. However, there are some issues about that.

First of all, each user in Trello should have an account in Jotform as well. I am the only one who has account in Jotform and I am the only one who is responsible for creating forms like expense forms.

I assumed that through your integration, a pop-up will open and user pastes the Jotform link for his/her purpose (lets say it expense form), fills the form then saves or sends to Trello. After that, anyone who examines the card in Trello may see the filled form.

I think it isn't so. Am I right?

    Thanks,

You may still use the Form URL to share the form link and when your form users submit the form depending on your integration it will create or update the card in Trello.

Another way to integrate is in your Form Builder>Settings>Integration and search for Trello

Please give it a try and let us know if  you have further questions.

    Hi Richie,

It works well and better to know that Jotform has already direct integration with Trello.

    I have a specific problem.

In my form, I have an Input Table. I want to see it in "Description" section in Trello.

In Settings page, I connected Input table name and Description. I filled the form and then tried to send to Trello. However it gave error. It said "Trello Integration Error when creating card!

    invalid value for desc"

Input Table is somehow frequently used in Jotform by users and there must be solution for that if there is an "integration". Can you help me for this to solve it? Or is there any other table type for me to put it in my form to avoid this error? I will also search for the solutions in the internet.

    Thanks,

It looks like the input table to Trello is not yet supported.

    Please check this article: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Adding-a-Table-inside-Trello-Card-Description/qaq-p/775080

You can also contact trello support regarding this.
