Trigger Email Notifications AFTER approved.

    The form I am working on https://form.jotform.com/241776617494065 has approval flow set up upon submission. I also have several notification emails (with conditions set up) based on checking boxes.

    I am trying to figure out if it's possible, if only after the submission is submitted and approved, for it to trigger the notification emails. If it's denied, the notification emails do not send.

    I would appreciate any guidance! Thank you

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.

    Currently, this is not possible. The Notification Email only has two options when sending an email, when the submission is received and when the submission is edited. Take a look at the screenshot:

    There's currently no way to trigger the Notification Email only when the approval request is approved and not when the approval request is denied. You can add an email element to the approval flow when the form is approved and denied.

    While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

    Hi stantoncarpet,

    Just want to clarify concerning the Notification Email with conditions set up, are you referring to the Notification Email in the Form Builder? If so, as indicated, we currently have no option to trigger the emails only when both the two conditions are met, which is when the form is submitted and when the approval request is approved. Currently, the Notification Email is sent when the submission is received and edited.

    But you have the option to email elements to the approval flow when the form is approved or denied.

    Now, if you don't want the form fillers receiving an email when the approval request is denied, you can simply remove the Denied outcome and the email connected to it and only add the Approved outcome and email. Or just remove the email connected to the Denied outcome. Here's an example:

    But I checked your form, and I noticed that you've already set up conditions inside the Approval flow to conditionally send the emails.
