PayPal: Is there a way to open payment method on a new tab?

Is there a way for the PayPal page to open in a new tab instead of the same tab when completing a form and making payment? We have had issues with people having a problem with the payment and when they click the back button to go back to the form, everything is gone and they have to complete it again.

Also, the Venmo option is greyed out in the Integrations area. How can I change that?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, you can use PayPal check out if you want to open payment option on a tab. You can change the Payment method without deleting it. It's really easy to do. Let me show you how:

1. Open your form in Form Builder and click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
2. Under the Payment tab, click on the Three Dots icon next to the Payment method you used and click on Switch to Another Gateway.
3. Choose a payment method and click on Use Selection.

Now, you'll see the new payment method on your form. Also, keep in mind that you can use only one payment method on a form. All the other payment methods will be shown grayed out.

Okay, this answers part of my question, thank you. I was hoping to have both PayPal and Venmo as payment options on the form, but it seems that is not possible.

I'm still wondering if there is a way, when I hit Submit and I'm taken to PayPal, if that can happen in a new tab, not the tab the form was in. We've had people who had trouble with PayPal, and when they go back to the form, the form is empty and they have to fill everything out again. I have enabled the Save option, but if they don't hit it first, before going to the payment option, it does no good.

Unfortunately, the feature you are looking for is not possible. There is no way to open the PayPal page in a new tab/window. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
