What is the Max image file size for a background?

What is the max page size image weight? Im uploading a large gif for page image (background) but its taking forever to load. Im wondering if maybe there is a limit and it got stuck there uploading?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I suppose you are referring to the maximum file size for the uploaded images. I don't recall having any limits to this but it would be more web browser-friendly to upload images that have a file size around 1-2 MB or less. Although I see that your form uses a 5.8MB image background and it loaded fine without issues.

The reason for this is that when browsers load your form, it also takes a lot of resources when you have a heavy form due to images and length of form and functionality. So if it appears that the form becomes difficult to load on your end then it means that your computer is having a difficult time processing the request when loading the form on your browser.

This also means that the performance of your form may vary from different devices. You may have experienced difficulty in loading your form but I didn't experience the same on my end because of my internet speed and my computer's capacity in terms of processor and memory performance.
