Add Afterpay and credit card payment option

    hi, would you please show me how to add afterpay to my form please, I would like to remain the credit card payment as well. Thanks

    Hi Yanni,

    You can add Afterpay and credit card payment options to your form integrated with Square. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, select the payment field on your form and click on the Wand icon on the right of the field to open the Integration Settings.
    2. If the Payment Settings opens up, click on the Gear icon at the top-right corner of Payment Settings first.
    3. In Integration Settings, scroll down to Payment Methods, and check the box on the left of the Afterpay and credit card options.
    4. Click on Continue at the bottom of the Integration Settings and that's it. Add Afterpay and credit card payment option Image 1 Screenshot 20

    Thank you Mike,

    just wondering do I need to add items and prices in Squareup again?

    Or it will directly retrieve the items and prices from my Jotform links?

    Hi Yanni,

    It's not necessary to add the products in your Square account as long as the product list field on your form is all set up.

    Hi Yanni,

    I just cleared your form cache to refresh your form, could you try checking again? If the issue persists, I suggest using a different browser or incognito to connect your Square account.

    hi MARY, it worked for this form, but for all other forms, when I am connecting to Squareup and log in it will be like this again and again....

    and also, it shows that NZD is not available for Afterpay? We have lots of stores in NZ that uses AfterpayAdd Afterpay and credit card payment option Image 1 Screenshot 20

    Hi Yanni,

    Please temporarily switch the payment processor and then switch it back to Square. It's really easy to do. Let me show you how:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder and click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    2. Under the Payments tab, click on the Three Dots icon next to the Payment method you used and click on Switch to Another Gateway.
    3. Choose a payment method and click on Use Selection. Add Afterpay and credit card payment option Image 1 Screenshot 20
    4. Repeat step 2, but this time select your preferred payment processor.

    Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Yanni,

    Thanks for getting back to us. I checked their documentation and can see that the NZD should be supported. They also mention that the store currency must correspond to the Afterpay account region. Have you had a chance to check with Afterpay to make sure you're using the correct region? This could be an account-related issue, in which Afterpay can provide guidance.

    and can I have credit card, Apple Pay/google pay and afterpay at the same time at checkout ? how can I do that? it can only be credit card , or either Apple Pay/google pay , or Afterpay.....

    Hi Yanni,

    Can you confirm if you already followed the workaround provided by my colleague Mike? If yes, then please note that you can only select either of those modes of payment (credit card, Apple Pay/Google Pay, and Afterpay) when checking out.

    As for your concern about NZD not being supported when using Afterpay, I suggest contacting the support team of Afterpay to assist you further with this issue.
