How do I set up my form so that edits cannot be made once it is submitted?

    Hi Dana,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. We can stop your form users from editing their submissions by deleting the submission link sent to their email via notification email. Here's how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Click on the Emails tab on the left side of the page.
    3. Click on the pen icon to edit the email notification.
    4. In the Email tab, look for the edit_submission line, delete all the text with it, and click on the Save button. No additional edits once submitted Image 1 Screenshot 30

Also, others can edit their submissions if you have assigned the forms to them and provided edit access. If you have transferred your forms to others, you can manage them and change their permission from Submit and Edit Later to Submit Only. Here's how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Publish tab in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Click on the Assign Form tab on the left side of the page.
    3. In the Permissions, select the Submit Only option. No additional edits once submitted Image 2 Screenshot 41

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can do for you.
