Creating multiple submissions entries from 1 submission

    Hi.

In a form with the following fields:

    • Date
    • Text
    • Multiple choice (ie Option1 / Option2 / Option3)

(note that the Multiple choice could be replace by something else that allows multiple selection, if that helps solving this issue)

    Imagine the submission is:

    • 02/07/2024
    • Car
    • Option1 & Option3

I would like this to be added to the table as 2 rows:

    1st row:

    • 02/07/2024
    • Car
    • Option1

    2nd row:

    • 02/07/2024
    • Car
    • Option3

How can I achieve this please ?

    thanks for the help

sorry, I didn't mean to have this request set as "Private".

Happy to make it public if you can. (I can't find an option to do so myself)

    Hi D,

You can use the Input Table element and conditional logic to do this. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    2. Under the Basic tab, scroll down to Input Table, and drag and drop an Input Table element to your form.

    3. Once added, click on the element's gear icon to open its Properties.
    4. In the Properties pane on the right, click on Fields.
    5. Next, select Textbox in the Input type and enter your preferred Rows and Columns names.

Now, let's set up the conditions:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Conditions in the menu on the left side of the page.
    3. Now, click on Add condition and then click on Update/Calculate field.

    4. Set the conditions like you see below:

    5. Once done, click on Save to save the condition.

Check out the screencast below to see my results:

You can find my demo form here. If you would like to see how the conditions have been configured, feel free to clone my form to your account to get access to the widget settings. Click here to see how to clone the form. Additionally, I've set this thread as a Public thread.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more, so I can help you better?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.
