    Hi There,

I have a pre filled form that I have created on our internal database and would like that information to then be uploaded to a Jotform so the end user can sign it, What would be the best way to acheive this if it is possible at all?

    thanks

    Hi Charles,

Thanks for reaching out to JotForm Support. Unfortunately, our forms can either be prefilled via URL Parameters or the following sources:

However, if you can tell us more about your internal database, we may come up with a workaround for your case.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Ok So We use the Filemaker platform (Claris)
The data can be exported in numerous formats, such as xlsx, csv, dbm, txt
I am very surprised that you do not offer integration with the FileMaker platform as it has been around way longer than all the ones you have just mentioned.

Is there anyway we could make this work as the only other way would be to move over to Docusign where they do allow uploading the documents to what they call "Envelopes" where the user will then receive the completed information in their mail ready for them to digitally sign .
    Thanks

    Hi Charles,

Unfortunately, it's currently not possible to prefill a form using Claris Filemaker as resource. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Meantime, you mentioned you can export your files as XLSX and CSV, so you may consider importing them to a Jotform Table and then prefill your forms using Tables Prefill.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
