Jotform Tables: Combining Data From Two Forms In Tables

I am gathering data in a new form. This form is a clone of a form we used. It has collected Data in Tables here. https://www.jotform.com/tables/222716071036145

This is the submissions for the old form. It is archived. Many, but not all of the columns are the same there are only some minor additions to the new one above.

Both of these can easily be integrated with Google Sheets - as I use that much of the time over Jotform tables.

My Question is-- Right now The form we use would put data on line/row 12 of tables (and send data to google sheets)

If I had combined the two sheets data into one sheet-- and that meant the next open slot is now Row 100-- will Jotform be smart enough to skip rows 12-99and start filling the spreadsheet on row 100- or will it just overwrite row 12, 13, 14 etc with the new data

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When you combine another submission table or add new submission entries, it will not overwrite your existing submissions and they will be added to the imported submissions after the existing submissions.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better? It would help us to understand what’s happening if you could take a screen recording using Loom and send it to us.

Let us know if you need any more help.

    Quick loom: https://www.loom.com/share/31383b1480a042adbfb7c9c374688e43?sid=c332f5d4-31aa-4154-9cd4-06272ec260b7

Just let me know if NEW data will start overwriting in line 16 in the example, or recognize the filled data even though it didn't "produce" the data. And begin on Line 26

    Thank you

    Hi Jason,

I’ll need a bit of time to look into this. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

    Hi Jason,

As I have checked the new submission will not overwrite the existing data on the sheets. It will be added to the blank rows. Check out the screencast below:
