How to set up auto-responder email

    Hi is there a way you can create a form so that when compelte , you can select/enter the designated email for it to be sent to ? I would like to develop a purhcase order form I could then send to each supplier once filled out ?

    Hi Mitch,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Do you mean that you would like to send form fillers a purchase order or submitted data after the form has been filled in? If yes, you can set up Auto-responder Email. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, go to Settings at the top navigation bar.
    2. Go to Emails in the left panel.

    5. Edit the email content that you would like to have.

    thank you, but I would like be able to enter the details of the recipient (new recipient each time) and forward the complete form to them if possible?

    This way I could complete an individual form and send individually to all of my suppliers through a purchase order form?

    Hi Mitch,

    May I know if the details are the ones inputted by the recipients or not? If yes, you can just put the relevant fields in th email content then the auto-email with those data will be generated. You can check out the screeenshot below. The email will show the inputted date and selected products etc. The email will sent to the form fillers automatcially. You just need to add an email address field in the form.

    Sorry it looks like you have shown me how to pre-enter the recipient email if the form settings (which I believe are restricted to 10).

    However, if I completed the from my iPhone and wanted to send the from straight to a new email addresses (without going through settings), is that possible by entering in the email address in the form?

    Hi Mitch,

    Keep in mind that you can have 10 recipients in notifications emails. But, the autoresponder can be sent to any email address specified in the form's email field. If you set up an Autoresponder Email, your customers will get emails about their purchases after they fill out the form. Let me show you how to set that up:

    1. IForm Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
    3. Now, click on Add an Email.
    4. Then, select Autoresponder Email.
    5. Customize the options the way you want them, and you’re done.

    Also, keep in mind that you only need to set the autoresponder email once when creating your form. The emails are then automatically sent to the email address specified in the form's email field. You can also check out this guide on Explanation of Email Notification and Autoresponder Settings
