Good morning - I am having a really frustrating time on https://form.jotform.com/241787014400045
I have imported the PDF and am in the process of setting up the input table for up to four vehicles. I have built the first one and tested it and it appears to be working just fine.
Rather than build the second table from scratch I duplicated it with the same properties. I am having difficulty adding the field lines to the PDF. I did manage to get them on there using the 'add to pdf" option but once they are on the form, whilst I cam move them around the form I cant alter the size of the field on the pdf at all.
can someone advise how I go about this please to get lines 2, 3 and 4 completed in this part of the form

Hi Tony,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Let me show you how to map the fields into your PDF:
- Open your form in Form Builder, and go to the Vehicle Two table.
- Click the field that you want to map.
- Then click on Add to PDF and drag it to the PDF field.
- To edit or resize, drag the corner until it fits into the PDF field.
If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better? You can also share a screen recording of what’s happening so we can try to replicate it on our end. You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

that was exactly what I was looking for but the field would not allow me to alter the size, only drag it around the form

Hi Tony,
In the screencast above, when you drag and edit the size there is a purple line that guides you. I have cleared your form caches. Can you go ahead and try it again? We suggest you try it on another browser and let us know how it goes. If the same happens again, please share a screen recording of what’s happening so we can understand what's going on. You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

I am continuing to have real trouble with setting the fields.
https://form.jotform.com/241787014400045
The process I have is that the first field is set and is correct for the following table
all
all of the links work so I duplicate the table for the second line of inputs. As I am attaching them on the second line the links disappear but the blue outline remains. I dont know why the link disappears once I have attached to PDF. I have left it with the two fields on the second line which are now unlinked. I have deleted and started again more than a dozen time but still get the same problem
are you please able to help

Hi Tony,
I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:
Also, you can add another column on the same input table. Let me show you how:

thank you for trying. Did you use the duplication option?
It seems that when I create a new table it works just fine. The issue is only after I duplicate a table and it happened again in the next group.
For now I guess I can't use the duplication for tables at this stage and have to keep building them from scratch - good practice I think

Hi Tony,
Yes, I cloned your form and tested it by creating a duplicate input table, and I'm unable to replicate the issue. Check out my screencast below:
I've gone ahead and cleared your form caches as an additional aid. Can you try it again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, let us know, and we'll do some more testing to see what's going on.
Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
