How can I hide paragraph content from a form response?

Since paragraph content does not automatically appear in form responses, I pasted it into the form responses under email settings.

However, several of the pages are hidden via conditional logic depending on how they answer the last question on the first page. All of the paragraph content still shows in their responses, even though they did not access and complete some hidden pages. Is there any way to prevent that content from showing in their responses?

    Hi Alyssa,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, if you manually entered the text into the email content. They will always appear, even if they are not accessed. The only workaround is to create a separate autoresponder email with the paragraph texts pasted in and set up a Change Email Recipient condition to only send that specific email based on the user's answer. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Emails on the left side of the screen.
    3. Click Add Email, then select Autoresponder Email.
    4. Edit the Autoresponder and add the paragraph that appears only when an option is chosen in the If I am registering field.

    1. Go to Settings at the top.
    2. Select Conditions on the left.
    3. Add a new Change E-mail Recipient condition.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you! I was able to clean up the autoresponder emails that registrants receive. The notification email I receive still has excess paragraph content, but I can live with that.
