Download the app in multiple devices

It was just a quick question in relation to the new of users. If for example I was attending a trade show and needed a data capture form on 2 Ipads, can I create them off the main account and share them to each device if I download the app onto them and log in so they have access to the form or does it need to be individual users per device?

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. Our standard plans (Starter, Bronze, Silver, and Gold) are individual, single-user plans. Unfortunately, it is not possible to add another user to your account. If you need an account that allows multiple users, you can upgrade to Jotform Enterprise. Enterprise accounts can accommodate everyone on your team while giving you full control and visibility into each action taken by members of your team.

Alternatively, you can check out our Form Collaboration feature, which allows multiple team members to simultaneously work on the same form. If you need to share your submission data with your team, you can also share your submission tables with Jotform Tables and collaborate. Let me walk you through it:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Add Collaborators in the upper-right corner of the page.

    2. Copy the collaboration link by clicking on the Copy Link button, and share it with your team.

Active collaborators will appear in the Form Builder. Members who don’t have a Jotform account will show up as guests.

If you'd like to share your form's Jotform Tables with your collaborators, here's how to do that:

    1. On your Jotform Tables, click on the Share button at the top-right side of the Jotform Tables, which will open up the Share Table window. You’ll see two options: Invitation Link and Invite By Email.

If you want to invite your collaborator using the Invitation Link option, just copy the link and share it through other mediums. If you choose the Invite By Email option, just add the collaborator’s email addresses to invite them directly. By default, Jotform Table’s Privacy Options is set to Private Table, which means your collaborators can only read your form data.

If you wish to give collaborators additional permissions, you can do so through the Share Settings panel. Here's how to do that:

    1. Click on the Share Settings link from the Share Table window will open the settings panel.

    2. Choose from the options according to your needs:

    • Private Table — Private means it’s only available to invited people.
    • Public Table — Public means everyone can access and read your form submissions.
    • Company Access — Company means that Jotform Tables is available to people registered under your organization’s domain name.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more, so I can help you better?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Alex,
If you are just capturing data at a trade show, do you need to be logged in as an admin??
If you just want to be able to collect form submissions form multiple tablets, you can just access the public form (on as many tablets/devices as you wish). No need to require multiple admin users.

    Perhaps I misunderstand your requirements.
    FYI, I am a long-time user...not Jotform Support.
    Just trying to help.

    LOL.."Enterprise"... $7,000 entry point.

    Cheers,
    Bruce

    Hi Alex,

Yes, if you are only referring to data capturing, then it is possible to install the app on multiple devices with one user account. As Bruce mentioned, each data will be automatically synced to the same table.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
