    Hello Ktm200,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Did you mean you want the PDF to be filled out directly rather than turned into an online form?

Unfortunately, we can only convert the fillable fields in your PDF to Smart Forms; but, once the form is submitted, those fillable fields will automatically fill in the fields in your original PDF. I noticed you already have Smart PDF forms in your Jotform account, which are seamlessly connected to PDF fillable fields.

If I'm not following what you're requesting, could you please get back to us with a more detailed explanation of what you want to happen in your form so we can help you?

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

    Hello Ktm200,

You can generate a Fillable PDF from your form and download it. But, for submissions made on that PDF to be mapped to your Jotform Tables and Jotform Inbox, they must be filled out in Adobe Acrobat. Let me show you how to create a fillable PDF first:

    • In Form Builder, go to your My Forms page.
    • On the left side of the page, click on Create Form.
    • Click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    • Under the Basic tab, scroll down the list, choose the options that you want, and then drag and drop them onto your form. How to directly filled the Original PDF? Image 1 Screenshot 60
    • Now go to the Publish Tab, and go to the PDF section on the left menu.

    • Download the PDF by clicking the green Download button.

Once downloaded, your PDF can now be filled without going to the browser, just ensure you have an internet connection and fill out the PDF in Adobe Acrobat. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

i have a pdf i converted into smart forms on jotform i got link from jotform which is connected to my pdf so when filled it auto fills the pdf fields and we can download it now what i did i added the fillable jotform link to my pdf from pdf editor 3rd party and its working fine.
But my pdf has 2 parts 1 filled by customer that is ok with fillable links other part is accepted by organization and signed and then sent to customer to sign again now when a customer fills the first part and downloads the preview pdf and sent to us then the fillable link is gone as i did that manually so when we have to review and sign we need to find another way online or use adobe acrobat and then when we send again to customer for final signature then again we have to embed link of jotform the pdf there ia alots of task forth and back and time consuming is there any easy way address my issue ?

    Hello ktm200,

I'm sorry I didn’t fully understand the issue. Can you explain a bit more about what you want to do? It would help us to understand what’s happening if you could take a screenshot and send it to us. We have a guide here explaining how to do that.

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.
