    Dear Team,

Good day and hope you are doing well.

In my form, I am using 3 “Spreadsheet to form” widget. My questions are list below:

    1.         The excel I used for those 3 widgets is updated on daily basis. Could I update the spreadsheet on daily basis using JotForm API? If not, why, or what is the difficulties?

    2.         If I could update the spreadsheet on daily basis using JotForm API, is there any way I can ensure the widget setting is as expectation (e.g., sheet name, access code column)?

I did contact your api team but there was no response from them

Your prompt response will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kind and patience.

    Best regards,

    Ivan

    Hi Ivan,

Thanks for reaching out to JotForm Support. Unfortunately, it's currently not possible to replace the uploaded file on Spreadsheet to Form widget via API Call. I understand it would save you a lot of time if you can update the file via API as you do it daily, so I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

    Thanks for replying.

Is there any workaround? Or may I know the difficulties?

    Hi Ivan,

Unfortunately, there's no available workaround for replacing the uploaded file in Spreadsheet to Form widget. You'll need to log in to your account and open the form to be able to update the uploaded file. As for the difficulties, I'm afraid can't tell much, as the Support Team is a separate team from our developers who make API Calls possible.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.
