Could you please tell me if it is possible to set up a multiple-choice question so that if I select the first or second option, I cannot select the fifth option?

    Hi joycehuang,

Thanks for reaching out to JotForm Support. Unfortunately, it's not possibly to conditionally disable an option in Multiple Choice Field. You may consider moving the fifth option to another field and conditionally show them based on the selection on your first Multiple Choice field. Let me show you how to do that:

    • In Form Builder, create two Multiple Choice fields, one with the 1st-4th option then another for 5th option. Multiple Choice: How to disable 5th option when then 1st or 2nd is selected? Image 1 Screenshot 50
    • Next, create a condition to only show fifth option (second multiple choice field), if the first or second option is selected. Multiple Choice: How to disable 5th option when then 1st or 2nd is selected? Image 2 Screenshot 61

    Here's a close-up view of the condition:

    And here's how it works:

That's it. Here's a link to my demo form so you can test.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any more help.
