Make the credit card payment optional

I have the "required' toggle turned off, but it seems as though people are unable to skip the credit card payment option on my forms. May I ask your help?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Are you talking about this form? When I checked it, I can see that you have Stripe integrated in it, as your payment gateway. That means, your form will still ask for payment information to be able to complete it, since the field's purpose is to collect payments.

If you just want to have an option for form users to indicate an amount they will be sponsoring for and not actually pay for it, you can replace the payment gateway with a basic Number field. That way, they won't have to go through filling out the card details to submit the form. Let me show you how:

1. In Smart PDF Forms, go to your payment filed and click on the Trash can icon to delete the field.
2. Once deleted, click on Add Form Element on the left.
3. Under the Basic tab, look for Number and add it into your form.
4. Update the label/field title as needed.
