Hi orendaoffice97,
I understand what you’d like to do, but I’ll need a bit of time to work out a solution. I’ll get back to you shortly.

Hi orendaoffice97,
If you want to have the option to respond to your employee's day off request by approving or denying it, you can do this by using the Approval flow feature. Let me show you how to set that up:
First, let's create your Form. You can check our available Day Off Request Form templates here. Just click on Use Template, and it will automatically create the form for your account:
- In Form Builder, click on Settings at the top of the page.
- In the menu on the left, click on Approval Flow.
- Click on Create Approval Flow.
When you set up the approval flow in Jotform, a default simple approval process is automatically created. This flow consists of basic steps such as Approval and Denial, and it also sends notifications to the employee when the request is approved or denied.
Here's what the Approval Email looks like:
And here's the email received by employees for when the request is approved:
That's it. We also have guides about How to Create an Approval Flow With Jotform Approvals and A General Approach on Building an Approval Process Workflow that you can check out.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
