Hi orendaoffice97,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can do this by creating two separate forms for check-in and check-out along with Form Elements like Date Picker and Basic form fields. You can also use a Take Photo widget if you'd like to have your employees take a photo first before checking in, but this is just optional. Let me show you how to create a simple check-in and check-out form:
- In Form Builder, click on Add Form Element on the left side of the page.
- Add Basic fields such as Full Name, Email, Short Text for Employee ID, and Date Picker.
- Make sure to set these fields as required.
Then, let's configure the date and time of the date picker field. Here's how:
- Select the Date Picker field and click the gear icon.
- Under the Options tab, set the default date as Current.
- Under the Time tab, enable the time field option by toggling it On, then set the default time to Current.
- In Form Builder, click on Add Form Element on the left side of the page.
- Under the Widgets tab, search for Take Photo Widget.
- Add it to your form by dragging and dropping it.
That's it. Once you've created the Check-in form, you can then clone that form and change the name of the cloned form to the Check-out form. You can also clone my demo form here.
As for your other question, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
