    Hello,

One of our forms is receiving an error message "429 too many requests #30".

We have cleared our cache and have waited about 20 minutes before resubmitting.

    How can we fix this?

    Thank you!

    Hi starsandstripesmgmt,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When I cloned and tested your form, everything worked the way it was supposed to. Take a look at the screenshot below to see my results:

Usually, the "429 too many requests #30" issue occurs when there are multiple people trying to submit their answers on your form at that same time. Jotform have a limit of 60 submissions per minute from the same IP address for security reasons.

To prevent this, you can add captcha on your forms to avoid users on spamming submissions on it. You can use a Math CAPTCHA for your form. It will ask users to complete a basic math problem before they can successfully submit their form response. The math questions are randomly generated, and you’ll be able to choose the maximum calculable number to change the difficulty. Let me show you how to set that up:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder and click on the Add Elements menu on the left side of the page
    2. Under the Widgets tab, scroll down and add a Math CAPTCHA to your form.

Now, anyone filling out your form will have to complete the math question to be able to submit their results. The form can't be submitted if the answer isn't correct:

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
