Integration: Time sent to Salesforce is 5 hours ahead

    Hello,

I have a timesheet form created and integrated with salesforce. We are in EST (Florida) however, when the data populates in Salesforce, the time is converted to a different time.

    9AM - 10AM is converting to 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

    How can this be resolved?

    Hi Chantelle,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Most of the time, this type of issue is related to the timezone you set on your Salesforce account. Please check if you have set the correct timezone on your Salesforce account. You can follow this guide from Salesforce about How to Change the Dashboard Timezone.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I just double checked, the SF org is set up as GMT 4:00, which is the same as the Jotform settings but submissions continue to populate within the integration with a 6 hour difference.

    Hello Chantelle,

Your Jotform account follows the Detroit time zone, which is GMT-4:00. Can you try to either change your Salesforce account timezone to GMT-4:00 or change your Jotform account timezone to GMT+4:00? After that, make a test submission on the affected form and see whether that resolves the issue.

Give it a try, and let us know if you need any more help.

The Salesforce account is indeed set to GMT-4:00, the same as the Jotform timezone. Which is the problem, the are both the same but the result is different.

Hello! Just chiming in to say we're currently experiencing the same issue. We're in Pacific time (GMT-7) and our time fields, which are set to automatically capture the current time, are uploading to Salesforce as 8 hours ahead of the current time.
