Unique ID widget: Is the same unique ID be assigned to a person who submits the form the second time?

Suppose someone submits a form and is assigned a unique ID. Would the same unique ID be assigned if the person submits the form a second time?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Unique ID widget can be added to your form to have unique IDs for each submission. If the user submits the form the second time, it will have another unique ID. Check out the image below:

Adding the unique ID to your form is easy. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click Add Form Element + and tap Widgets.
2. Search for the Unique ID widget, then drag and drop it to your form.
3. Click on the Unique ID field and click on the Gear icon. In the General tab, you can edit the field settings. If you want a sequential increment, select Sequential Numbers as Unique ID Generation Method.
