Smart PDF: How to Display the Unique Submission ID as a Clickable Link on the PDF Version of the Form

I'm creating a Smart pdf form and I want to use either the submission ID or the Random Value generator as the ID Number that will be displayed on each form.

I want this ID number to be clickable, so that if anyone clicks on it, it will display some details of the form owner.

I'm using it for a certificate, so when you click on the link, it will show you the details of the certificate owner to prove the person was truly awarded the certificate.

How can I achieve this?

While the feature that will enable you to display the clickable link submission ID on each certificate PDF generated from your Smart PDF form isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

To show the details of the submission, we would need the ID of the submission. And since the ID of the submission is generated only during submission, it's not possible to insert it into a form field and include it in the submission that can be connected to the Original PDF form.

You can consider recreating the certificate on your Smart PDF Form by customizing a PDF Document. With the PDF Document, you can include a link to allow others to view the submission. We have a guide here that explains how you can do that.
