Hubspot Integration with Multiple Choice

I have a series of quizzes in Jotform that a person can take. In Hubspot I have a multiple choice field that I want to check off each as they pass the quiz. I linked the quiz and Hubspot but in my testing when I take both quizzes it overrides the previous one selected. I don't want to create multiple fields in Hubspot to achieve this hence the multi choice option. In Jotform I have a conditional field that if they pass a field is updated with the name of the quiz then links to the corresponding Hubspot field. So if they pass the first quiz it gets checked off. Then they take the 2nd quiz, I don't want it to uncheck the first one, just add to it.

    Is that even possible?

I have a field in Hubspot: Exam (this is a multiple choice checkbox with quiz 1, quiz 2, quiz 3, quiz 4) a person can take all of those via my Jotform quiz.

If they take and pass quiz 1 it will update Hubspot to be:

    Exam Field:

    [ x ] quiz 1

    [ ] quiz 2

    [ ] quiz 3

    [ ] quiz 4

Now they take and pass quiz 2. it updates Hubspot to be:

    Exam Field:

    [ ] quiz 1

    [ x ] quiz 2

    [ ] quiz 3

    [ ] quiz 4

what i want it to do is:

    Exam Field:

    [ x ] quiz 1

    [ x ] quiz 2

    [ ] quiz 3

    [ ] quiz 4

    Does that help?

    Yes that is correct.

I did find a workaround within Hubspot but it is not ideal. There is still a little bit of manual updating.

    Hi Hayley,

Thanks for getting back to us. Since you are attempting to pass the multiple choice element to HubSpot, you need to map it to a "Multiple Checkboxes" field type in HubSpot. For each checkbox option you wish to transfer, you'll need to create a corresponding checkbox field in HubSpot. Ensure that the options match exactly between Jotform and HubSpot.

After creating the Multiple Checkbox property, you will need to edit the table columns in HubSpot to include this new property, allowing you to see the incoming data. Once everything is set up in HubSpot, reintegrate Jotform with HubSpot and map the newly created properties to the multiple-choice field in your form.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Sorry I don't think I was very clear. I have this hidden field in my jotform quiz.

when someone passes the quiz it updates the field with the name of the quiz

then it updates my hubspot field based on which quiz they took. they can take all 4 of these quizzes. but when they pass the next quiz the integration removes the one they previously did, which i don't want. i guess what i need is the option to append but it's not available :(

    Hi Hayley,

I've checked out the screenshots you shared with us. If you are trying to pass the multiple choice element to HubSpot, you will need to map it to a multiple map it to Multiple Checkbox field type in HubSpot. As per the set-up, so you will have to create for each checkbox element you have that you want to pass the data to. Keep in mind that the options need to match as well.

Let us know how it goes.

Sorry i'm not clear. The field in my Jotform quiz is just a short text field. Do i need to change that to a multi choice field?

    Hi Hayley,

Unfortunately, what you were trying to achieve isn't possible since you have multiple quiz forms. I highly recommend that you use the conditions, so each form may correspond to condition Pass/Failed field. As for HubSpot Integration, instead of putting everything in one column in a form of Checkbox, try to split it into two separate columns in the Textbox, and the Column type would be Basic Training, Dashboard & Alerts, Inspections, and Proposals. After that, map each column into Pass/Failed field to corresponding forms.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
