How do I embed the Sign Document into a form?

I ask a user to upload a file to one of my forms for submission. This file, however, is a signed document I created through Jotform.

Is there a way to link the document to my form, so that the user can click the link, fill out the form, and the document be automatically uploaded as a pdf to that file upload field on my form?

If this is not possible, is there a work around that would give this same concept?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Sherri,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you want to embed your Sign Document into your regular form, you can do so with the help of the Iframe Embed widget. Let me walk you through it:

First, copy the Jotform Sign Document's share link:

    • While in the Sign Builder, click Send on the top green navigation menu.
    • Click the Copy Link under the Share With Link tab, this is the link we'll use to embed it on your form.

    • Click on the Add Form Element + menu on the left side of the page in Form Builder.
    • Click on Iframe Embed under the Widgets tab to add it to your form.
    • Click on the Wand icon next to the Iframe Embed widget and paste the copied link into the Frame URL field. Lastly, make sure to click Update Widget.

Thanks! I appreciate the quick response! Does this feature keep the phone, tablet, and desktop views of the signable document when it is displayed through the iframe on the form?

    Hi Sherri,

Unfortunately, I didn’t fully understand what you mean. Can you explain a bit more about it? Perhaps, are you referring about the view count for the Sign document that is embedded on the iFrame Embed widget? If so, yes, it will keep the view count even when embedded.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you elaborate a bit more, so I can help you better?

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what do you mean on and how to help.
