    Hi There,

I'm using SF as our CRM and I have a requirement to fill out a govenment form. The form must look exactly the same when uploaded.

My question is, can I automate the data transfer from SF to Jot to complete the form. I've uploaded the form herewith. Numbers need to fit into the spaces as shown in the form. Everyhting is yellow is resident in salesforce.

Let me know if that's doable.

    Thanks

    Ron

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It's possible to pre-fill a form using your Salesforce data to Jotform but this must be done manually. This means that you will have to assign a value and matching data to automatically fill your form and use it for your submissions. Here's where you can find the integration:

    1. Edit your form and go to Publish
    2. On the left panel, select Prefill
    3. Select Salesforce and then proceed with the wizard in selecting your data and mapping it to your Jotform fields

If you'd be asking if there is an automated tool that will instantly transmit data from Salesforce to Jotform and immediately do a submission, unfortunately, this is not possible through the Jotform environment.

But you can try and see if it's possible with Zapier.com. However, Zapier is a different service and its subscriptions are different from Jotform. You may check them out to see the possibility of automating your submissions.

Let us know if you have more questions or need more help.

Hi There - it seems that the information is from JF into SF. I'd like to initiate it from SF to JF. Is that possible.

Also if you look at the form, you'll see a field called Vehicle Registration. Each box must have digit in it. Is that posible or would it just enter the registration number without the required spacing? Same goes for the VIN ..

    Let me know

    Thanks

    Hi Ron,

When using the integration feature, the design for that is transmission of data from JF to SF, as provided in this guide. But if you will read thoroughly my response, the intention there is different. The prefill method is designed to transmit the data from SF to JF since the intention here is to prefill the data coming from Salesforce and show the data in the form on loading the form. Have you considered trying my suggestion? You can also check out this guide to learn more about prefilling data from Salesforce to Jotform.

As soon as we hear back from you we'll help you more with this.
