Account Suspended: Fake Service Offer

Please unsuspend my account. A warning and chance to correct the issues would have been incredible before full suspension of what is a major and front facing business.

I spent literal days and hours working on that format just to launch it in time for the weekend. Please just tell me what to correct or remove it.

    Hi Jax-Prince Cottrell,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Your account was suspended because you’ve got a form named Basic Employment Application Form that was flagged as offering a fake job application. We understand this might not be the case with your form, but we had to act according to the general rule to be in compliance with our Terms of Use.

With your permission, I’ve removed the offending form and reactivated your account. You should be able to log in now. You can create the form again after changing your account email address to a corporate one.

Note that we are extremely thorough when reviewing forms. We understand that you would like a warning before the account is suspended. However, if we discover a suspicious form, we will suspend the account immediately. Rest assured that in these instances, we offer 24-hour customer support to assist you.

Reach out again if you need any other help.

Thank you, but why would I need a “corporate” email to use the form when JotForm’s own rules state that all I need is an email address.

My primary email is literally my business email. If you question its validity, please feel free to check out what I do on social media as you will see this is a legitimate business.

Plus, it feels extremely classist that the email address I explicitly built for myself to represent my brand and business isn’t “corporate”, like I haven’t done everything in my power to legitimize my businesses.

So please explain and define “corporate” email, particularly for someone who is self-employed and rather happy not slaving away making money for someone else.

    Hi Jax-Prince Cottrell,

The corporate email we are referring is the paid email addresses. However, if you can provide details that can verify the legitimacy of your account, please provide the following:

    • Send us the URL where your form is used.
    • Send us a link to your website or proof of affiliation with a legitimate institution.
    • Change your registered email to a corporate one to avoid getting flagged again by our phishing detector.

Send all of these to reviewers@jotform.com with Thread# 16165531 as the subject, and we’ll make sure that your account will not be suspended.

In the meantime, let us know if you need any other help.

Emailed your people, and just forwarding the message as a follow-up:

    Hello,

I was told to send “proof” to you of my legitimate business connections which is very infuriating, because Google literally is right there, and this seems a bit much and a little targeted, especially to deal with at barely 9am.

The Link Where My Form Is Used:

Proof Of Affiliation W/A “Legitimate” Institution:

    Forbes.

    New York Magazine.

    HBO.

    Vice.

    Los Angeles Pride.

    All in that link.
