Create a secondary form that displays the shipping cost of each product

I'm using JotForm to manage group purchases of items from abroad. It's effective for handling orders, but I'm looking to create a secondary form to inform participants about their shipping costs. This second form should indicate how much each person owes for international shipping based on the items they've ordered. For instance, if the total shipping cost for all items is $30 and we ordered 40 items, the shipping cost per item is $0.75. So, if someone ordered 6 items, their shipping charge would be $4.50.

The challenge is linking multiple order submissions. For example, if someone initially orders one item and later decides to order two more, I need the second form to reflect the total shipping for all three items they've ordered. Ideally, it should also display all the items they've purchased, even if the orders were placed separately, and include product photos if possible. Is there a way to achieve this?

    Hi lolkatiekat2017,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. Unfortunately, we don't provide custom form creation or designing services, but you're welcome to work with a third party who may be able to help you. You can check out our Jotform Solutions Partner Directory for a list of consultants who've asked to be included.

You can get in touch with the right Solutions Partner for you by sorting them by location, type of service, industry, language support, or partner tier. Just fill out the contact form for the Jotform partner you'd like to work with, so they can make the necessary preparations to help you.

Keep in mind, though, that these parties operate independently of Jotform, so we assume no responsibility or liability for their work or their actions.

In the meantime, let me show you how you can add shipping cost to your products. It is very easy to do.

    1. Open your form in Form Builder and select the Product List field.
    2. Click on the List icon on the right side of the field.
    3. In the menu that comes up, under the Shipping tab, toggle the Enable Shipping option to the On position.
    4. Now, just choose a Charge Basis and define a Shipping Cost. That's it.

The shipping fee will be added after someone chooses the items, like in the image below:

We hope you find the help you're looking for.

Thank you for your quick response. I appreciate your suggestion to contact a Solutions Partner, but I may have not made my initial question clear. My inquiry was about whether the functionality I described could be achieved directly through JotForm itself, rather than seeking custom form design services.

Additionally, the built-in shipping feature doesn't suit my requirements. The shipping costs in my scenario are calculated only after all items are ordered and consolidated at a warehouse abroad. Therefore, the exact shipping costs are unknown until the entire order process is complete, necessitating a second form to communicate these costs to participants. Could you please advise if JotForm can support this specific need?

    Hi lolkatiekat2017,

I've checked for solutions for the requirements you've mentioned. Unfortunately, it is hard to complete them using the current fields and conditions in Jotform alone. As a workaround, you can check our list of integrations available with other apps like Zapier and see if a solution is possible together with them. You can also consult a Solutions Partner if you need more technical assistance in setting up the integration with other apps and Jotform.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can do for you.
