Populating Jotform using URL query string

I am a user of a Jotform created by someone else. I do not have access to the form builder. I have read and understand the requirements for this process. Is there any way to find out the unique name of a form field without access to Jotform builder software? Does it show up on the form web page View Source code option? Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Hi Steven,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the only way to get a form field's unique name is to have access to the form builder. If you would like, you can clone the form, and you will need to create your own Jotform account as well. We also have a guide about How to Find Field IDs and Unique Names that you can check out.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the info. I was able to set up a Jotform account and pulled in the subject form via URL import. I have been successful in populating form fields using URL query string. The only thing that has me stumped is that the form contains a Widget that includes a nested dropdown. Is it possible to pass a URL parameter to the widget that would populate both the primary and secondary data elements? I have been able to populate the primary selection data but not one of the secondary data elements in the list. If it is possible, what would be the structure of the query string parameter. Thank you.
