Stop people to apply that is in the spreadsheet widget

    I want to use the spreadsheet widget to stop people from applying, so if they are in the sheet then the condition should activate and tell them the cant apply

    Hi EdunetSA,

    Thanks for contacting Jotform Support. I understand you are looking to add a message to the user's if they are not in the sheet. This can be done using the widget settings by changing the Invalid code text. Doing that is easy. Let me show you how:

    • In Form Builder,click on the Wand icon on the left side of the page.
    • In the Widget Settings window that opens up, update the text for Invalid code text
    • Then, click on Update Widget.

    You can hide the submit button as well to make sure the submission is only made when the Spreadsheet to the form widget returns the values:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Conditions on the left of the page.
    3. Now, click on Add a New Condition and then click on Show/Hide Field.
    4. Set the conditions like you see below:
