    Hello,

I got a notification that my limit had been reached for my jotform, I have deleted all but one form and most of the submissions for that form, but we are still unable to take new submissions. Why is this?

    Hi kgib,

Thanks for using Jotform. I'm sorry that this is happening. If you already deleted all the necessary forms and are still unable to take new submissions, you need to permanently delete trashed submissions. It's really easy. Let me show you how:

    1. In your Jotform Tables, click the main tab’s menu using the three-dot icon.
    2. Select Trashed Entries from the menu.

Forms and submission limit reached Image 1 Screenshot 30
    3. In the Trash panel, choose the submissions to delete, then click the Delete Forever button.

We also have a guide on Deleting Form Submissions Automatically and Understanding Your Account Usage and Limits that you can check out.

That's it! Reach out again if you need any other help.

    Hi Heather,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that you've deleted most of your submissions data, however, you will also need to permanently delete it from your trash folder. Let me walk you through it:

    1. In the Submission Tables click on the 3 vertical dots on the tab.
    2. Select the Trashed entries option.Forms and submission limit reached Image 1 Screenshot 30
    3. In the Trash panel, select the submissions or tick on the Select All checkbox to mark all entries.
    4. Click the Delete Forever button.
    5. Finally, click Delete in the confirmation window to purge the marked entries. Forms and submission limit reached Image 2 Screenshot 41

That's it! Once you have purged the submission's data and the issue is still the same, please get back to us so that we can recalculate your submissions limit.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
