    Hi corebenefitsga,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. This is possible by changing the email content in your Autoresponder Email that will be sent to your form responders after your form is filled out. But to better understand your workaround, can you please confirm if you want the calendar to be added to the autoresponder right after the form responders fill out a form? Or do you want a calendar to be added to the form after they confirm the attendance at an event?

As soon as we hear back from you, we can move forward with a solution.

I would like the autoresponse email to contain a button or link for those that completed the form to "Add to Calendar". The date / time and webinar info would be loaded. Hi corebenefitsga,

Unfortunately, there's no direct option to allow users to add appointments to their calendars. Some email clients have a built-in feature to add date/time appointments to the user's calendar.

As a workaround, you can use the Appointment field and enable the Send Reminder Emails option. Doing this gives the option to a user to add the appointment on Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, or iCalendar. Let me show you how :

    1. In your Form Builder, add the Appointment Field to your form.
    2. Select the Appointment field and click the Gear icon.Is it possible to add a Calendar event to the Autoresponder Email? Image 1 Screenshot 40
    3. In the Appointment Properties, go to the Advanced tab.
    4. Toggle the Send Reminder Emails as On.
    5. You can change the content of the notification email by clicking the Customize Reminder Email. Is it possible to add a Calendar event to the Autoresponder Email? Image 2 Screenshot 51

This is how the Reminder email template will look like :

Thank you. I created that and was trying to rig it so that it sends out a "reminder" as soon as the person submits the form. So for ex, the event is July 11. I put send reminder 23 days before. I though maybe since we are under that now, it would send a reminder but has not yet. Maybe does not work like that?

    Hi corebenefitsga,

You can copy the Reminder email notification template and paste it into your Autoresponder email. So, instantly, your fillers will get the email with the add meeting option in their calendar. Let me show you how:

    1. Go to Appointment Properties and click on Advanced tab.
    2. Click on Customize Reminder Email, and copy the Email Content.
    3. Now, go to Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top.
    4. Click on Pencil icon in the Autoresponder email and delete the existing email content.
    5. Then, paste the copied content into the Autoresponder Email Content, and modify your email content.
    6. Finally, click on Save.

After submitting the form, your fillers will receive an email with an add calendar button. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more, so I can help you better?

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
