File Upload: Clear Uploaded File When Field is Hidden

We found that submission table alway record uploaded file even the upload field is already hidden from user option.

Cloud you please confirm solution to remove uploaded file from upload field.
Remark : This problem will happen only when user uploaded and submit to the form and comeback to update hide the upload field.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now. The clear hidden field values do not work with file uploads. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. Any work around to clear the upload field value in PDF builder. We need to create PDF that match with user option when the upload file still shown in the PDF even the user is already change the option to hide this make our team confuse. Is that any work around on this problem (ex fix on submission table or fix on PDF builder) Thank you.

I'm afraid we don't have a workaround for this. You can remove the file upload field from the PDF to avoid it being shown. Let me show you how to do it:

• Choose the form field you want to delete.
• Click on the Trash Can icon on the right side of the field to delete it.
