File Upload: Have a minumum number of files uploaded

There is a maximum number of files accepted, but there is no minimum. I see feature requests for this feature from 8 years ago. Has this been implemented yet?

    Hi nixdivemask,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Please try opening the File Upload Properties and then enable the Limit Number of Files option.

    1. In the Form Builder, select the File Upload field and click the Gear icon.
    2. Go to the Multiple Tab.
    3. Enable the Limit Number of Files and set a number you want.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Yeah, I'm familiar with this setting, as I stated in the original question. This allows me to set a maximum number of files to accept, not a minimum.

    Hi nixdivemask,

Please let us know the minimum of files you want to receive/accept and we will check if that is possible or if there's any workaround for it.

After we hear back from you, we’ll better understand what’s going on and how to help.

I want to be able to accept 25 as the minimum and 30 as the maximum. I do not want to make 25 individual uploads, as that would be tedious for the user, and there would be a high chance of duplicate uploads.

    Hi nixdivemask,

I understand it's a tedious process to have 25 individual uploads when you have just one and set the minimum number of file uploads to 25. I'm afraid, however, such feature isn't implemented yet, so I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
