How to make a portion of a template fillable?

Hello -

We have created a new application for one of our permits and also created a template. I was wondering if there was a mechanism that would allow a portion of the template to be fillable and saved as part of the template? Since we issue the permit off of the template, it would be easier to click boxes.

Please advise.

I would provide a copy of our template with the portions we want fillable highlighted, but I cannot attach it to this request.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, we did not receive the template that you attached. If you are attaching a screenshot, this guide will show you how to post a screenshot on this thread.

But, if you are attaching a PDF, you can upload it to any storage platform like Google Drive, and send us the link here. Make sure that you set the link to public, so we can watch it.

Once we hear back from you, we can move forward with a solution.

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately the State of Alaska government system doesnt support google drive. I had responded to my initial request with an attachment. A screenshot would not work either, since you need the document for my request to make sense.
Is it possible to send you a PFD?

Yes, you can send us a PDF copy of your template to our email support@jotform.com, with the subject line Thread 16085353. You can also send us a screenshot of the portion of the template that you are referring to. We have a guide about how to do that here.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.
