I am struggling with being able to calculate 1 collum where numbers will be put in and the total of those numbers need to be shown while filling the form.

I've already read how to calculate collum's and how to preform calculations using calculation widget, even trying to use the calculator.

Is there any way you can calculate 1 collum where numbers will be put in and the total of those numbers need to be shown while filling the out the form?

I am referring to the form titled Preview Form

    Hi MarisForms,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I assume that you're trying to calculate the total of the numbers that will be put in the column "Amt of time", is that correct? If yes, I see that you added a Calculator widget. It is not the correct widget to use since this widget will only display a digital calculator to the form that can be used by the users.

To calculate the total of the column, you need to add the Form Calculation widget instead. Let me show you how to set it up:

    • In the Form Elements window, go to Widgets.
    • Drag and drop the Form Calculation widget.

    • In the Formula box on the right, click on the Add Field button.
    • Select the boxes for the column that you want to include in the calculation.

    • Add the plus sign in between each of the selected column's fields to get their sum.
