How to Limiting the access to a Jotform to Registered users and preventing sharing.

I have a business idea of creating an educational course all within Jotforms. We would be selling this course. My problem is I want only users who have paid to have access to the course. I can think of some wonky ways to do it but I wonder if you have a straightforward way.

    1. I can't simply password-protect it because they could share the passwords.
    2. I thought of using a User field that doesn't allow someone to use the same answer but that doesn't work because the real user may need to come back in in another session to complete the course and this process would not let them back in.

My Kludgy solution is to use the "Spreadsheet to Form" widget for the userID field for access and then have all the other questions be limited to one per answer by having a condition in each question that is pre-populated with their userID and make it a unique field. Can I prepopulate a field with the u=serID from Step 1 and make it required to be unique?

Is there a limit to how many entries can be on the Spreadsheet to Form Widget?

Would the above work to do what I need and do you have a better solution?

    Any clever ideas?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Katherine,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, as a workaround, you can enable unique submissions to your code field. Let me show you how:

    • You need to add a number field in your form.

    • Now add this number field to the unique field.
    1. On your My Forms page, hover your mouse over your form and click on Edit Form on the right side of the screen.
    2. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings and then click on Show More Options.
    3. In the Form Settings menu, scroll down and select Number in the Unique Field.

    2. Under the Widgets tab, search for the Spreadsheet to Form widget and add it to your form.
    3. In the Widget Settings window that opens up, upload your data file and select yes under autofill by condition.
