Voice Recording as a Basic Field instead of a widget

Dear Jotform Team,

Thanks for an amazing product :)

I come from India. There are a lot of local languages in India. Not everyone is comfortable in filling a form in English or typing from mobile. If you can make voice recording as a basic field option, it will be great.

Currently I am able to add Voice Note filed as a 'Widget'. However this filed responds very slow while filling the form.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am unable to locate the form with the voice recording widget, could you share which form are you working on so we can check and investigate why the widget is loading very slowly?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

Also once I download the file - unable to open it in VLC or Quicktime and
listen to the audio

I tested your live form to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

I've gone ahead and cleared your form caches as an additional aid. Can you try to change your browser? Can you try it again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, let us know, and we'll do some more testing to see what's going on.
