What's the best way to receive digital signatures?

Can anyone help me with digital signatures. I want to create some forms which need to be signed digitally but my clients are often not at all technically savvy. I currently utilise a check box to state they have read and agree with the forms inputs and any declarations. I do however need for a couple of forms and specific providers a bit more than this by way of a more certified signature of some sort.

When I have used adobe it doesn't show a version of my signature, rather it shows my name and some unique numbers, maybe IP address etc which is generally acceptable. I am seeking something really simple whereby a less tech savvy client can click on the box that they agree or what ever and that action creates an output that is acceptable as a digital signature for them

    any ideas please?

    Hi Tony,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked one of your forms and see that on the Home Plan – Proposal Trailer, Caravan or Horsefloat Only, it already has a signature field. You can also enable the use of Jotform Sign. Let me show you how to do that:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings.
    2. Next, on the Jotform Sign section, Enable it and that's it.

Once enabled, the Send Audit Trail option can be sent which will include the document activity and shows the signature timestamp and IP location.

We also have a guide on How to Power Your Signature Widget in Your Forms With Jotform Sign that you can check out.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
