Is there a way to force a User's browser to only open the Jotform URL signature in a separate window and not download the file locally?

2 - This isn't just Jotform specific, but since your file and signature feature is limited to just the URL, perhaps you have a solution for this. Is there a way to force a User's browser to only open the Jotform URL signature in a separate window and not download the file locally?

We don't want sensitive documents to be saved to a user's computer, just viewed in a browser.

    Hi ElderHelpofSanDiego,

I didn’t fully understand the issue. Are you referring to an attached signature of your form notifications when the user completes the form?  Take a look at the screenshot below:

The notification email is sent only to the recipients and unfortunately, we can't disable the option to download or save the file locally. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better? You can also take a screenshot of what’s happening and send it to us. We’ve got a guide here that’ll show you how to do that.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Good idea to move this to a new thread.

Here's what we're experiencing -- in Salesforce, when someone clicks the URL for the Jotform uploaded file, the file downloads from Jotform to their Downloads folder.

We'd prefer it to just open in a browser window to Preview it like it does for the Signature files. Here's a screen recording. The signature file opens in a browser window. The File Upload downloads to the Local Computer

I know this isn't exactly Jotform-specific, but with the limitations Jotform

has (it can't send a File to SF, just a URL field), I'm sure someone else has had this requirement before.
