    Hi Monica,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your account, and it seems that you have created multiple forms. Can you share with us the form URL so we can check it on our end? It is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
    2. Click on Quick Share in the menu on the left side of the page, and click Copy Link.

Can you also take a screenshot of the area that is not updating on your form and send it to us? This guide will show you how to do that.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

The first inclusion on the top right is just not showing and the calculations at the right are also in a weird format.

    Hi Monica,

Thanks for sharing the form and the screenshot of the issue. I cloned and tested the form on my end and I could replicate the issue. The values showing on your form seems to be in a different format. Upon checking the formula of the Form Calculation widgets, I found out that you mixed the numeric and textual values. Check out the image below:

Calculations are not showing in the submission PDF Image 1 Screenshot 40

As you can see, these gray elements on the condition are showing on the PDF document instead of a value that would show the calculation you set up. This is the result of this formula on your PDF document:

Calculations are not showing in the submission PDF Image 2 Screenshot 51

Can you try reviewing the formula you set up for each Form Calculation widget? Can you also update it with the correct one so it will show a correct format of the result? Also, the fields that are not showing on the other column of the PDF is because the formula of these fields are reliant on the result of the first column. Since the first column doesn't show a correct result, the other column doesn't show a value as well. Since the result of the calculation is not a number, the condition below will not be executed. Check out this condition used for this field:

Calculations are not showing in the submission PDF Image 3 Screenshot 62

Can you fix the conditions on the Form Calculation widgets first, then test if they can now show a correct value in a proper format as well?

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

How can I correct the > symbol then? I used it the same on the other calculations and it worked, it is only this one..

If you check the other ones, the format is identical. I want to add each time the fields are greater than or less than the numbers shown.

So... Jovito, this is INCONSISTENT. The other calculations are set up the same and work with no problem. Now that I changed the conditions to correct the errors, those don't show either! HELP

OK, corrected the calculations but still have the issue with the first calculation.

    Hi Monica,

The greater than and less than symbols are set to String. Keep in mind that the characters in gray color are String, String characters will be displayed as is in the result. If you want to set the character to Number, you can simply click on the character. Check out the screencast below to see how it's done:

In the screenshot below, I understand that you wanted to get the sum of the values in the Marca qué tanto cada enunciado es cierto de ti field, can you share what's the purpose of the greater than sign?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

I did just that but it did not make a difference. I want to add up each occasion in which the criteria is met. On the first response, if it is greater than 5 It would add one, on the second if greater than five, another, on the third if less than 2 etc.

This is done exactly the same on the other calculations and they work fine, This one just won't. I cannot see the difference. I did change the signs as you requested but take note they are not changed on the others and still work fine.

The calculations for the differences are working correctly again, but cannot get the first one to work for some reason. In the new or old versions. What is different? I cannot tell, it is similar to all the other calculations and done with the same widget.

    Hi Monica,

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it. It would be best if you changed the Form calculation widgets again using the same formula it should be like this. Check out the screenshot below:

Calculations are not showing in the submission PDF Image 1 Screenshot 30

When I cloned and tested your form, using the formula above everything worked the way it was supposed to. Take a look at the screenshot below to see my results:

Calculations are not showing in the submission PDF Image 2 Screenshot 41

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better? If you can take a screenshot of what’s happening, that will help us to better understand what’s going on. We have a guide about how to do that here.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Monica,

You have to remove the functions '< and >' for the calculations to work. Check out the screencast below on how to do it:

Calculations are not showing in the submission PDF Image 1 Screenshot 40

After removing all the greater and less than functions, make sure to click on Save. Then, set the Clear Hidden Field Values to Don't clear. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Form Settings in the menu on the left side of the page.
    3. Select Don't clear to Clear Hidden values.

    Here's the result:

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
